I’m particularly excited to hold Schattengeist in my hands, with lovely stained glass lantern, autumn nemesia, and finale art by Alexandra Simonovik. Not to mention the fascinating ending for my morally-gray lovers, who remained so fantastically stubborn throughout Book 1 that it required two books to get them together. I kind of adore them for it, though, those little contrarians.
In other bookish news, keep your eyes peeled for my latest commissioned illustration honoring the completion of the duology. It’s going to star my death witch in denial as she contemplates using the enchanted blue rose to win her ringmaster’s affection.
