- Updated Formatting for Waldgeist
No, I didn’t touch the story itself! I just updated the back matter and reformatted the font, chapter header, and scene break to align better with the sequel Schattengeist. I wanted the pages to be complimentary when the books are open side-by-side, screaming “Duology!” for all the world to acknowledge.
Necessary? No, not at all. But does it make my soul happy? Yes. Yes, it does.
- A Few Cover Tweaks for Waldgeist
Hey, I had to reupload the page count anyway. Might as well! I think my readers will agree that the changes will communicate the Victorian theme more effectively.
Also, turns out “Dragon baiting” is a thing – i.e. placing a dragon on the cover of a story that is merely symbolic, there are no dragons. Whoops. Let’s not do that, girl.
- Finishing Draft 2 for Schattengeist (and delivering it to my editor)
This part will never not make me nervous, but it’s so necessary.
I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for my creations. I may or may not already have an idea for another WIP, so check out that page if you’re curious…

As an introvert, social media has been difficult for me to maintain properly and enjoy overall.
